+ How much do you charge to DJ my party / reception?
Our Mobile DJ services start at $75 an hour (4 hour minimum), and will go up depending on the event, distance from Albuquerque, performance times and amount of equipment needed for the job. Average prices are as follows:
- Weddings: $100 an hour, up to five (5) hours. Any additional hours are $75 an hour after first five (5) hours.
- School Dances: Weekdays - $150 flat rate for 2 hours. Additional hours are $50 an hour up to four (4) hours total.
(Non-Prom) Weekends - $75 an hour.
- Most Other Events: $75 an hour, four (4) hour minimum. Events under four (4) hours are at a $250 flat rate.
All prices are average, and are for the Albuquerque area, including up to 30 miles from the Northwest part of town. Please call for an exact price for your event.
+ Do I have to put any money down?
Yes. Our service requires a deposit of $50 to hold the date. Deposit is refundable until 30 days to the event, and will go toward the final balance. Cash and checks are accepted. At the moment, we do not accept credit / debit cards.
+ When is payment due?
The deposit is due to hold the date. Final payment is due on the day of the event immediately after equipment set-up.
+ Are you a licensed business?
Yes. OutaDare Productions has a business license from the City of Albuquerque.
+ Do you do this full time?
Yes. This is all we do! And we do it well!
+ Do you charge to travel outside the Albuquerque Metro area?
Yes.
For events beyond 30 miles of NE Albuquerque, a travel fee of $1.00 a mile applies (one way).
Events that are 100 miles and further will also require lodging or a $50 lodging fee (depending on the event times).
Santa Fe, NM is considered exempt of travel fees.
+ Do you offer free consultations?
Yes! We offer unlimited free consultations via in-home (within the Albuquerque metro area), email or phone conversations. Any in-home consultations outside the Albuquerque area may require an additional travel fee. Please call for more information.
+ Do you use professional equipment?
Yes. As an experienced audio engineer, DJ OutaDare settles for nothing less then high-end audio and lighting equipment. Our service is professional, right down to the equipment.
+ Do you bring back-up equipment?
Yes, we bring a few extras to immediately fix any problems that may arise. Our sound system is Bi-amped and will continue to operate if one component fails.
+ Do you supply a wireless microphone?
Yes
+ Are any dance lights included?
Yes, our intelligent L.E.D. dance lighting package is always included at no additional cost.
+ Do you offer any package upgrades?
Yes, you can upgrade all the way to concert audio and lighting.
+ Do you wear a suit and tie?
I the occasion calls for it, and if requested, yes.
+ Are there any overage charges?
We charge $100 an hr. for each hour over, or $50 per 30 min.
+ Do you provide a contract?
Yes, if requested.
+ What are the cancellation and refund terms?
Please provide 30 days notice of cancellation in order for us to fill the open date, thank you. The $50 deposit is refundable up to 30 days of the scheduled event, after which, it becomes non-refundable. Any payments made in addition to the deposit will be refunded. We sincerely hope to do business with you in the future.
